Obama calls on Jesus at National Prayer Breakfast

This week at the National Prayer Breakfast, we had the opportunity to watch our nations President discuss the power of prayer and call Jesus Christ “my Lord and Savior”. Regardless of our individual political party, or personal opinions on President Obama, all Christians can be thankful that we have a president who puts Jesus Christ at the forefront of his prayer time.

When is too much, too much?

I have spoken to quite a few small business owners who think, “If you want things done right, you have to do them yourself”. The resounding thought is, a small business owner must be tech support, the administrative assistant, advertiser, payroll, accountant, and Human Resources. More times than not, this perspective of how a business should be run, leave owners tired, frustrated, and defeated. The mentality also can hinder the company from ever reaching the its envisioned potential.

Today is a day for speaking life! Rather than discussing your struggles and issues with friends and colleagues, talk about your current success and past achievements. Don’t give a stage to the attacks which may be coming against your business progress. Instead, consider the items you have conquered, focus on the achievements you have attained, and wear each stepping stone to your current level as a badge of honor!
