Whether I am at home, or at work, I strive to have a Christ-like attitude in my actions. Are there times that I stumble and am not my best self? Yes! But with each failure comes a chance to pick myself up, review my actions, and improve for the future. Having spent the last 10 years on Wall Street, I have learned a number of lessons for existing as a Christian in the workplace. As a Christian, there have been times where I took the high road, even when it seemed like there were so many easier and faster options to my goal. There have also been times that I have failed to live up to a standard of what constitutes a Christ-like attitude. I have had opportunities to share my faith and encourage others, and there have also been times of standing out for beliefs that are unique in the workplace. As a Christian, I have chosen to live my life in a way that shows integrity, and a strong ethical conscience, and I try to apply this standard everyday in my work life. Through More Than A Company, I plan to explore how my faith is impacting my job, career and entrepreneurial endeavors. How will I do this?… By sharing my ideas for a successful career and/or business, while adding information from the Bible that adds additional depth to the concepts I write about. Hopefully, you will join me in sharing, and we can turn More Than A Company into a forum for business professionals and entrepreneurs from around the world to exchange ideas, suggestions, and experiences.
